i'm working the door tonight. joe gave me an extra shift a week so this is cool, eventhough i hate working the door. breaks are almost unheard of.

I'm REALLY looking forward to the next show we have coming up. it seems really really cool. They're a gay/lesbian band from Toronto...they have a ska/reggae/punky sound...but none of the above all at the same time. i don't know. check the website if you want to hear them. www.randomorder.ca . they're pretty cool. anyway, show is wednesday, july 20th. tix are $10 can get in advance or at the door. it's expected to be a really good show.
for future, i'm TRYING really really hard to get joe to get a certain Ms.Ferrick to perform at the bar....give me some feedback on this or something???

can anyone recommend some canadian indy artists...preferably female. i'm trying to find talent to recommend to my manager so we can get some more decent show like Alix Olson at the bar. input => greatly appreciated.
